Audition Notice

Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Clarksville Little Theatre, Fall 2026

Sunday, August 2nd & Monday, August 3rd

You must sign up for an audition slot in advance.

Roles Open to Adults Ages 18 and up.

Please bring a headshot- this doesn’t necessarily need to be a professional headshot and can be a current photo of yourself as long as it is just you in the photo.

Please bring a full list of conflicts from August 2nd through October 11th.

All roles are available- please see the character descriptions for notes on accents and vocal range.

Accents will be required for the performances. For auditions, accents are encouraged but not required.

Those auditioning are asked to prepare 32-48 bars (less than two minutes) of a musical theatre song. Please do not prepare contemporary, rock, or country style songs.

A Bluetooth speaker will be provided.

Accompaniment with the Bluetooth speaker should not include vocals.  

No A Capella (without music) auditions will be permitted.

Video Auditions will be accepted and must be received no later than August 3rd. Please present a song as listed above as well as a 60 second dramatic monologue. Please include Audition Form, Headshot, and Resume with video. VIDEO AUDITION

Video Auditions should only be submitted in the event you are unable to make it to the Sunday or Monday night of auditions. You must be available for callbacks if needed.

Please fill out the audition form in advance- this can be found on the CLT Audition Page. 

Callbacks will be held Tuesday, August 4th at 6:30p

Casting Notices will be sent by End of Day on Thursday, August 6th

There will be a mandatory Cast Meeting on Saturday, August 8th at 10:00a
