On May 13, 2017, the 2017 Midwest Chinese Bridge Speech Contest for U.S. High School Students will be hosted by the Confucius Institute at Valparaiso University (CIVU) and co-sponsored by the Chinese Consulate General in Chicago and Confucius Institute Headquarters/Hanban.
The 2017 Midwest Chinese Bridge Speech Contest will be held with the intention of providing a stage for Chinese high school learners all over the Midwest to communicate with each other and present their achievements in learning Chinese. The Midwest Regional Chinese Bridge Speech Contest will select the most qualified candidate to represent the Midwest in the 10th Global Chinese Bridge Speech Contest for High School Students.
