At our annual business meeting, new board members were warmly welcomed, infusing our association with fresh perspectives and a stronger sense of community. This event also provided a dynamic space for educators to share teaching experiences, fostering professional growth within the Chinese teaching community. Furthermore, we're excited to highlight that several of our members delivered inspirational presentations at IFLTA, adding valuable contributions to the ongoing dialogue on Chinese language education.

2023 CLTA-IN Annual Chinese Teacher Conference, which was in collaboration with National Taiwan Univesity's Huayu Best program was held on Oct 7th, 2023 in Indiana University Bloomington. The one day conference was consist of keynote speech by a prominent Chinese from Ohio, Wu, Ping and Roundtable discussions led by CLTA-IN teacher Sun, Ye and president Fang, Shumin.
All attendees were invited to a nearby farm for a post-conference retreat.

Indy Chinese Festival
"On September 9, 2023, all roads were led to IUPUI Wood Plaza in Indianapolis for the 13th annual Chinese festival of the city. Known to be the second largest Chinese festival after the Chinese New Year, this festival was held during the month of the Chinese Moon festival. "CLTA-IN participated in this unforgetable event to publicize Chinese language programs in IN.
