Clive has been painting since he was a teenager, when his early work was sold to local shops to promote clothes and other goods as a source of pocket-money.

He is fascinated by the sea and by light and enjoys the use of mixed media in his works.  He painted this picture, inspired by Bamburgh Castle during Covid.  Can you can spot the testing kits in the castle walls?  And the netting, sand and ash from his log-burner in foreground?
