The research mentorship is the second phase of the program, carried out over a period of 16 weeks. Participants are selected through a streamlined application process and placed into teams based on the thematic research areas. The long-term impact of the research mentorship is to produce empowered youth researchers capable of conducting high-quality research, contributing to the body of knowledge on climate and health in LMICs and informing policies and practices based on research findings, leading to improved health outcomes.
