Climate and Health Research Training
The Climate and Health Research Training is the first phase of the OFSN Climate and Health Research Lab Program. At the start of each cohort, a four-week structured, six-part online webinar is designed to build the capacity of at least 100 young people who are interested in learning essential skills and knowledge in climate and health research, with a focus on LMIC regions. Each webinar focuses on a specific aspect of the research process, from foundational concepts to policy applications, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience. Participants who are actively involved in the training and achieve at least an 80% score in the end-of-course assessment will be eligible to apply for the second phase of the research program.

Each webinar session is 90 minutes long and includes a mix of lectures, interactive discussions, Q&A segments, and practical exercises. Guest speakers and experts in the field will be invited to share their insights and experiences.

Increased knowledge and skills in climate and health research among 176 young people in the last year.
