Mu Sigma Rho is the national honorary society for statistics. Its purpose is the promotion and encouragement of scholarly activity in statistics, and the recognition of outstanding achievement among the students and instructional staff in eligible academic institutions.
The Cleveland Chapter of the ASA is an Affiliate Chapter of Mu Sigma Rho, the statistical honor society.
Mu Sigma Rho involves graduate students at all levels, undergraduates, faculty and professional statisticians. Activities include outreach and service to the profession.

The formal induction ceremony for 2019 will be at the Cleveland Chapter's Spring Conference on May 10th at the Holiday Inn in Independence. Inductees are welcome to join us for breakfast and the ceremony will be at the beginning of the conference. Inductees are also welcome to register and attend the conference, or leave after the ceremony.
Deadlines for applications is April 26, 2019. Please make sure you meet the qualifications stated above. You will be required to submit a pdf version of unofficial transcripts and $5 non-refundable application fee. Inductees will be notified as applications are received and no later than April 29, 2019. There are no additional fees or membership dues beyond the $5.
When notified of your acceptance, you will be offered the opportunity to order an honors cord at a cost of $8. You will also receive all the important information about the induction ceremony.
