A charming fantasy picture book, Socks Heaven is a delightful, imaginative mystery about the experience of 'lost and found'.
Sam lost one of his favourite socks. Missing it, he ventured into a dreamscape and found a heaven full of wonderful and happy socks filled with colors, shapes and motion. However, he could not find his own. Will Sam find his favourite sock in Socks Heaven? On his search he is joined by the Sock Fairy who shows him around and tries to help him. A book for young children as well as adults who once lost their favorite socks.
The story is imaginatively illustrated by Hong Kong born graphic designer Benny Lau.
About the author
Pauline Young is an avid storyteller who enjoys telling stories to adults and children alike. She travels between the United States and Hong Kong, frequently spinning stories into speeches and communications training programs. A San Francisco State University graduate with a BA degree in English and an MBA in Marketing, Pauline had worked for HSBC and the HKSAR Government in communications and training capacities. She is currently a coach and trainer on high impact communications, early literacy, and is an English fear buster.
Pauline is the mother of two boys.
