Background
The fashion industry contributes 10% of global carbon emissions, uses massive volumes of water, and produces millions of tonnes of textile waste annually- much of which ends up in African countries, including Nigeria. Beyond pollution, it contributes to climate change, loss of biodiversity, and health hazards in vulnerable communities.
