The Green Future Leadership Accelerator is a pan-African youth initiative designed to bridge Africa's climate education and green jobs gap. It intends to educate African Youths about the vast, untapped opportunities within the green sector by equipping participants (Educators, Sustainability Enthusiasts and Young Professionals) with practical knowledge and tools to advance climate literacy and green talents developments across secondary schools in Africa. Through a series of targeted workshops and outreach programs, participants will gain climate literacy, develop essential communication skills, and engage with schools and communities to spread awareness of green careers and ignite a new wave of climate-conscious citizens and future green workers across Africa.
The goal of the Green Future Leadership Accelerator is to equip 2500 youths across Africa with climate literacy, knowledge of green skills, sustainability careers and leadership training to deliver community outreach that will educate at least 250,000 students on climate change, sustainability, and green career opportunities by 2030.
