Agricultural Sciences Instructor / FFA Advisor
Degree:
B.S. Agricultural Education; University of Wisconsin - River Falls
Experience:
Clear Lake Jr/Sr High School - 2019 to Present
About:
I grew up on a dairy-focused hobby farm in Southeast Wisconsin. I bred and built up a small herd of Brown Swiss dairy cattle for showing from a heifer calf my dad bought me when I was 9. This led to my excitement for agriculture and interest in FFA when I got to High School. I joined the Elkhorn FFA my freshman year and participated in any and every event possible, served as a chapter officer, and traveled to many conferences and conventions. After I graduated in 2010 I pursued a position on the Wisconsin FFA State Officer Team. I was elected and served a 1-year term as the State Vice President in 2012-2013.
I am 2019 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Education. I currently serve and the Wisconsin Association of Agricultural Educators board as a sectional Vice President. I am also a lifetime FFA Alumni member.
I hope to provide our community with a well-rounded agricultural education program that develops students' leadership, personal growth, and career skills.
