FFA is a student organization for agricultural education students. FFA is an intra-curricular component of agricultural education. The A-P FFA Chapter was founded in 1944 to promote premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.
The Iowa FFA Association serves more than 19,000 members from 254 chapters. Today, there are over 850,000 FFA members, aged 12-21, in 8,995 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
