Every fall, the Wisconsin State FFA Officer team travels the state to meet with members and agricultural businesses. This circuit of Fall Leadership Workshops brings the state officer team to train officer, hype members, and promote FFA to students in each of the 10 Wisconsin FFA sections. More information can be found on the Wisconsin FFA Leadership Conference page.
The FIRE conference or Foundations in Reaching Excellence is focused around our Junior High and new FFA members. They cover FFA basics and all of the awesome opportunites students have to choose from!
These are typically offered in October and March - more information can be found here.
One of the favorite activities of the Clear Lake FFA is participating in Leadership Development Events also known as public speaking contests. We have found a lot of success in our parliamentary Procedure team, but students also enjoy participating in individual events as well.
For more information on LDE's please check out the Wisconsin FFA LDE Page!
With more than 25 different topics covered - it's no wonder why FFA members LOVE participating in Career Development Event teams! Students in teams of 4, study together on topics ranging from cattle and livestock judging, Wildlife and Natural resources management, Business and Marketing in Agriculture, meat evaluation and food science, Floral Design and landscaping, Ag mechanics and more!
