Terms of Use for CleanUp Earth

Welcome to CleanUp Earth. By using this app, you agree to these Terms of Use.
1. Purpose of the App
CleanUp Earth helps users report trash locations, upload cleanup photos, mark places as cleaned, and track cleanup progress through points, badges, and levels.
The app is intended to support environmental awareness and community cleanup efforts.
2. User Accounts
To use some features, you may need to create an account.
You are responsible for keeping your login information secure.
You agree not to use another person’s account or provide false information when creating an account.
3. User Content
You may upload reports, descriptions, photos, and location information.
By uploading content, you confirm that:
- you have the right to upload it;
- it does not violate anyone’s rights;
- it does not contain illegal, harmful, abusive, or private information.
Please do not upload photos that show faces, license plates, private addresses, or personal information.
4. Public Reports
Trash reports, photos, approximate location, and cleanup status may be visible to other users inside the app.
Do not upload anything you do not want other users to see.
5. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- upload illegal, harmful, hateful, violent, or abusive content;
- harass or threaten other users;
- upload misleading or fake reports;
- damage, overload, or misuse the app;
- attempt to access data or systems without permission.
6. Cleanup Safety
CleanUp Earth does not require or instruct users to clean dangerous areas.
You are responsible for your own safety.
Do not touch hazardous waste, sharp objects, chemicals, needles, dead animals, or anything dangerous.
Follow local laws and safety rules. If a location is unsafe, contact local authorities or professional cleanup services.
7. Rewards and Points
Points, badges, levels, and rewards in the app are virtual only.
They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money, goods, or services.
We may change, reset, or remove rewards features if needed.
8. Account Deletion
You can delete your account inside the app:
Profile → Delete Account → Delete My Account
Deleting your account permanently removes your account, profile, reports, rewards, photos, and related user data from our system, unless we are legally required to keep certain information.
9. App Availability
We try to keep the app available and working, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.
We may update, change, suspend, or stop parts of the app at any time.
10. No Warranty
CleanUp Earth is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do not guarantee that the app will meet your expectations or that all information in the app will be accurate, complete, or current.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, CleanUp Earth and its owner are not responsible for injuries, damages, losses, or claims related to your use of the app, cleanup activities, user content, or third-party services.
12. Termination
We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the app, upload harmful content, or create safety or legal risks.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time.
If we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page.
