I have been pursuing my love for the natural world and marine environment at the University of Washington in Seattle. Here, I have had the opportunity to take interesting courses, develop my own reserach projects, and work with professors and peers who inspire me everyday.

Friday Harbor Labs

UW Integrative Field Experience

During Spring Quarter 2026 I was lucky enough to attend Friday Harbor Labs in the San Juan Islands for the Spring Marine Studies program. The courses in this program included Novel Marine Ecosystems, Marine Mammals in the Salish Sea, Professional Portfolio, and Spring Seminar.

Through this experience I was able to explore ecosystem dynamics, monitor surrounding populations of marine mammals, engage in outreach and community science education, as well as live and work at a world-class marine field station.
