I envision a future in which marine and environmental scientists are heard in policy, education, and the public. This can be done through creating effective legislation, comprehensive nature-based learning, and community interdisciplinary collaboration.

I aim to keep educating myself and others on core marine and environmental principles to ensure that ecosystems are supported for future generations, as well as to limit the impacts that anthropogenic actions and climate change have.
