Basketball Bros strips basketball down to a one-on-one format with exaggerated, almost cartoonish physics — jumps go higher than they should, dunks land harder than they would in a real game, and none of it takes itself too seriously. That's kind of the whole point.
Matches move fast, usually settled within a couple of minutes, which means a loss doesn't sting long before a rematch is already loading. The dunk animations carry most of the visual flash, but actual wins come down to reading your opponent's movement and timing steals or blocks rather than just spamming dunks.
Local two-player matches on one keyboard bring out a different kind of chaos than playing against a stranger online — trash talk included, presumably.
Controls: Arrow keys or WASD to move and jump, a separate key for shooting or dunking depending on position.
It's not trying to be a realistic basketball sim, and dropping that expectation is really what makes it fun in short bursts. Try it out through google classroom 6x whenever a quick head-to-head sounds appealing.
