First Night

Ring in the New Year with family, friends, and the Claremont community at Claremont Parks & Recreation’s Annual First Night Celebration! Held every year on December 31, First Night is a beloved community tradition that partners with local businesses and organizations to create a fun, safe, and memorable way for families to celebrate the arrival of the New Year.

Throughout the day and evening, families can enjoy a variety of activities spread across Claremont. This year’s festivities include bowling at Maple Lanes, mini golf at Blackbeard’s Cove, and winter tubing paired with s’mores at Arrowhead Recreation Area. The celebration wraps up in spectacular fashion with fireworks to cap off the night.

Back at the Claremont Savings Bank Community Center (CSBCC), families can enjoy indoor fun including carnival games, wildlife encounters, and open swim—providing warm, exciting options for all ages.

First Night is all about community, connection, and celebrating together.
