Get ready to cheer with the Mini Cards! This season, the Mini Cardinals Cheerleading Program will introduce participants in grades K–5 to the exciting world of cheerleading. Athletes will learn the fundamentals of cheer, including basic stunts, cheers, teamwork, and performance routines, in a fun, positive, and supportive environment.

Practices will take place on Thursday and Friday evenings from 5:45 PM to 7:00 PM (with some Saturdays), beginning December 3rd and running through February 26th.

Throughout the season, participants will work together to develop their skills, build confidence, and prepare for a special End-of-Season Cheer Showcase, where they will have the opportunity to demonstrate everything they have learned for family, friends, and the community.

End-of-Season Showcase: Date and time to be determined (TBD). Additional information will be shared with families as the season progresses.

Important Practice Information

All cheerleading practices will be closed to parents, guardians, and spectators. Because practices are held at the Middle School, which is not a Claremont Parks & Recreation-operated facility, access to the building must be restricted to authorized participants, coaches, and personnel for safety and security purposes.

We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of all families in helping us maintain a safe and secure environment for our athletes. Families will have the opportunity to see their cheerleaders perform at the end-of-season showcase!
