Eavesdrop — Conversation Worth Listening To

Eavesdrop (“we,” “our,” or “us”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Eavesdrop mobile application (the “App”).
By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
When using Eavesdrop, we may collect:
Email address (for account creation/login)
Nickname / display name
Audio content you choose to share during live sessions
Messages or communication within the app
We do not collect sensitive personal information such as government IDs, financial data (unless required for payments via a third-party provider), or precise location data.
When you speak during a live session or private call:
Your audio may be processed for transcription purposes.
Audio is sent to ElevenLabs strictly for speech-to-text transcription.
We do not transmit your email, nickname, or personal identifying information to ElevenLabs.
Audio is used only to generate transcription results and is not sold.
We may collect:
Device type
Operating system
App version
Anonymous usage analytics
Crash logs
This helps us improve app stability and performance.
We use information to:
Create and manage accounts
Enable live audio conversations
Provide transcription services
Moderate live sessions
Improve performance and user experience
Provide customer support
Serve advertisements (if enabled)
Eavesdrop is a live conversation platform.
By participating in a room:
Your voice may be heard by other users in the room.
If transcription is enabled, speech may be converted into text.
You should not share sensitive personal information during live sessions.
We are not responsible for information you voluntarily share in public or private sessions.
Users may book one-hour private sessions.
While sessions are not publicly broadcast:
Audio may still be processed for technical purposes.
We do not guarantee absolute confidentiality between participants.
Users are responsible for what they share.
If ads are displayed, we may use:
Google AdMob or similar services.
Users may:
Accept or decline tracking permissions
Limit ad personalization through device settings
We do not sell personal data.
Eavesdrop promotes honest and real conversations, but prohibits:
Hate speech
Harassment or bullying
Explicit sexual content
Illegal activities
Threats or harmful behavior
Recording or redistributing conversations without consent
We reserve the right to:
Monitor rooms
Remove users
Suspend or terminate accounts
We retain:
Account information while active
Transcription data as necessary for service functionality
Logs for safety and compliance
You may request deletion of your account and associated data.
Eavesdrop is not intended for users under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We implement reasonable safeguards, but no system is 100% secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the App means acceptance of updates.

Eavesdrop is a live audio conversation platform where users can:
Listen to live conversations
Host rooms
Join discussions
Book private calls
We do not script, edit, or control user conversations.
You must be:
At least 13 years old (or local minimum age)
Legally able to enter into agreements
By speaking in a room:
You consent to your voice being broadcast to other participants.
You acknowledge others may form opinions or react.
You understand conversations are user-driven and not moderated in real time at all times.
We are not responsible for statements made by users.
We use ElevenLabs for transcription services.
You consent to your audio being processed for this purpose.
You may NOT:
Harass or threaten others
Share private information without consent
Promote illegal activity
Record sessions without participant consent (where prohibited)
Attempt to exploit or disrupt the platform
Violations may result in immediate termination.
You are solely responsible for:
What you say
What you share
Your conduct in rooms
Eavesdrop does not verify the truth of statements made by users.
Private calls are user-to-user interactions.
We:
Do not guarantee outcomes
Are not liable for disagreements or disputes
Reserve the right to remove users who violate policy
All branding, design, and software belong to Eavesdrop.
Users retain ownership of their spoken content but grant us a limited license to:
Broadcast it within the platform
Process it technically
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Eavesdrop is not liable for:
User statements
Emotional distress resulting from conversations
Technical interruptions
Disputes between users
Use is at your own risk.
We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion for violations.
These Terms are governed by applicable local laws where the company operates.
