CivilMate is a productivity tool designed exclusively for the Haryana government works portal (works.haryana.gov.in). Its sole purpose is to automate repetitive data entry workflows, bulk task creation, and batch deletion routines for site engineers directly within their active portal session.

CivilMate does not collect, harvest, store, or transmit any user data.

• No Personal Data: We do not collect personally identifiable information (such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers).

• No Authentication Data: We do not capture or store portal login credentials, passwords, or security PINs.

• No Remote Transmission: All data processed by the extension remains completely isolated on your local computer. There are no external servers, cloud databases, third-party analytics trackers, or remote code calls involved in the operation of this extension.

3. Local Data Processing

The extension acts strictly as a client-side utility to mimic manual typing and form completion. It interacts with data in the following ways:

• User-Provided Inputs: When you paste JSON task configurations or batch deletion inputs into the extension popup, this text is processed immediately in your browser memory to fill out forms on the active portal webpage.

• Spreadsheet Templates: The extension uses a local JavaScript library (xlsx-populate) to manipulate pre-packaged spreadsheet layout templates entirely on your local machine.

• State Management: Temporary execution data (such as active job counts or loop indices) is used solely to keep track of the automated queue's progress.

4. Browser Permissions and Justifications

To perform its core functions, CivilMate requires specific browser permissions. These are utilized strictly for local functionality:

• activeTab: Used exclusively to interact with the webpage currently open in your active browser window when you launch the extension, ensuring it only runs when explicitly activated by you.

• clipboardRead: Used to enable the "Paste & Parse" functionality in the popup, allowing you to instantly load JSON configurations from your clipboard into the local memory without cumbersome manual text entry.

• Host Permissions (works.haryana.gov.in): Used to detect page states and dispatch automation events exclusively on the target government portal.

• scripting: Used to inject local automation scripts into the portal page to programmatically populate data boxes and close blocking popups automatically.

• storage (chrome.storage.local): Used to temporarily remember your automation progress if a portal page refreshes during a large batch upload, ensuring you do not lose your spot.

5. Third-Party Data Sharing and Disclosure

Because we do not collect or store any user data, we do not sell, trade, lease, or transfer any user information to third parties. No data is used to evaluate creditworthiness, serve advertisements, or build user profiles.

6. Security

We prioritize the security of your workflow. Since all operations take place strictly within the sandboxed environment of your browser's local context and utilize standard Chrome/Edge Extension APIs, your portal session remains as secure as a standard browsing session.
