We invite participation for the XXI International Summer School in Philosophy of Physics to be held in Urbino 25th-28th June 2018.
The topic of the school is “Philosophy of Quantum Field Theory” and will feature lectures given by Miklos Redei (London School of Economics and Political Science), Laura Ruetsche (University of Michigan) and Giovanni Valente (Polytechnic University of Milan); and afternoon seminars given by Elena Castellani (University of Florence), F.A. Muller (Erasmus University Rotterdam, Utrecht University), Sergio Doplicher (University of Rome La Sapienza) - see the attached program for details.
It will host a limited number of students, graduate students and early researchers depending on a successful application.

Notification of acceptance is expected no later than 15th of April.

*Call for Papers*
The XXI Summer School in Philosophy of Physics will dedicate its last session (June, 28th) to the presentation of two original papers in philosophy of quantum field theory. We invite Grad students, Post-Graduate students and early researchers alike to submit an abstract (no longer than 1000 words) suitable for blind review to:
No later than 15th March. The subject line should read: Submission XXI Summer School in philosophy of physics”. Papers should be sent as a pdf file together with a title page containing info about the author(s).
Notification of acceptance is expected no later than 15th April.
Attendance to the XXI Summer School in Philosophy of Physics is free for the selected speakers. In the case of presentations with multiple authors, the attendence to the School is free only for one speaker (the corresponding speaker).
Please note that only the attendance to the School is free: accommodation, lunch and dinner are not included.
