Circular is a hyperlocal social media application that helps users discover and share nearby posts, offers, announcements, events, jobs and services.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Circular collects, how it is used, and the choices available to users.
When you use Circular, we may collect the following information:
When you create or use an account, we may collect:
Name
Email address
User ID
Profile photo, if uploaded
Bio, phone number or address, if voluntarily added by you
We collect information that you choose to post or upload, including:
Text posts
Images
Categories selected for posts
Post visibility or distance preferences
Reports submitted about posts or users
Circular may request access to your approximate or precise location to show nearby posts and help users publish location-relevant content.
Your location is used only for app features such as nearby discovery and visibility of local posts.
Circular may use email/password login or Google Sign-In through Firebase Authentication to securely identify your account.
We may collect limited technical information needed for app operation, security and troubleshooting, such as authentication identifiers, app errors or device-related information provided by service providers.

Create and manage your Circular account
Display your profile and posts to other users
Show nearby and relevant local content
Allow users to create, edit and delete posts
Provide reporting and blocking features
Maintain app safety and prevent misuse
Respond to user support or deletion requests

Circular is a social platform. Information you publish may be visible to other users, including:
Your profile name and profile image
Your bio, if added
Posts and uploaded images
Categories and information included in your posts
Do not post sensitive personal information that you do not want other users to see.
Circular uses third-party services to operate app features. These may include:
Firebase Authentication for user login and account authentication
Firebase Realtime Database for storing app information such as profiles and posts
Cloudinary or similar media hosting services for uploaded images
Google Sign-In, where enabled, for account login
These service providers may process information according to their own privacy practices and only as needed to provide app functionality.
Circular does not sell your personal information.
Information may be shared only:
When you publish content that is intended to be visible to other app users
With service providers required to operate the app
When required by law or necessary to protect users, prevent fraud or address misuse
We use reasonable technical measures and trusted service providers to protect user information. However, no online service can guarantee complete security.
Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials secure.
Users can delete their Circular account through the account deletion option available inside the app.
Users can also request account deletion through our public Account Deletion Request page.
When an account is deleted, Circular will delete the user account and associated app data, such as profile information and user-generated content, subject to any information that must be retained temporarily for legitimate security, fraud prevention or legal purposes.
Circular is not specifically directed to children under 13 years of age. Users should use the app responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws and parental guidance requirements.
