Circular Community Guidelines

Welcome to Circular.
Circular is a local community platform where users can discover and publish nearby posts, offers, services, events, jobs, educational updates, local business information and announcements.
These Community Guidelines apply to all users, posts, images, profile information and other content submitted through Circular.
By creating an account or publishing content on Circular, you agree to follow these guidelines.
Be Respectful
Circular is intended to help local communities connect in a useful and respectful way.
Users must not post content that:
Harasses, bullies, threatens or abuses another person
Promotes hatred or discrimination against individuals or groups
Contains insulting, humiliating or targeted abusive language
Encourages violence or physical harm
Invades another person’s privacy
Post Genuine and Useful Local Content
Circular may be used for genuine nearby information such as:
Local offers and business updates
Services and job opportunities
Events and community announcements
Educational information
Food, shopping and medical service information
General local updates
Users must not post:
Fake offers, fraudulent advertisements or scams
Misleading information intended to deceive users
Repeated spam posts
False job opportunities or fake business promotions
Content designed only to manipulate, mislead or exploit other users
No Illegal or Dangerous Content
Circular does not allow content that:
Promotes illegal activities
Sells or promotes illegal goods or services
Encourages dangerous acts or violence
Promotes weapons, drugs or other restricted products in violation of applicable law
Supports terrorism, violent extremism or criminal activity
No Sexual or Explicit Content
Users must not publish:
Pornographic or sexually explicit images, text or content
Nudity or content intended for sexual gratification
Sexual solicitation or sexually exploitative content
Content that sexually harasses another person
Any sexually inappropriate content involving minors
Child Safety: Zero Tolerance for CSAE and CSAM
Circular has a zero-tolerance policy for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
Circular strictly prohibits:
Any sexual content involving a child or minor
Any content that depicts, promotes, solicits or facilitates child sexual abuse or exploitation
Grooming, sexual solicitation or inappropriate contact involving minors
Sharing, requesting, storing or distributing CSAM
Any attempt to endanger, exploit or sexually abuse a child
Content involving suspected CSAE or CSAM will be removed when identified. Accounts involved in such activity may be permanently disabled and reported to appropriate authorities or relevant reporting organisations as required by applicable law.
Users should immediately report any suspected child safety violation through the in-app Report Post or Report User option, or by contacting Circular support.
Respect Privacy and Personal Information
Do not publish another person’s private or sensitive information without their permission.
This includes:
Phone numbers, personal addresses or identity documents
Private photographs
Bank, payment or account information
Personal messages or confidential information
A person’s precise location without consent
Users are responsible for ensuring that the information they post is lawful and appropriate to share.
Respect Copyright and Ownership
Only post images, text, advertisements or other content that you own or have permission to share.
Do not upload:
Copyrighted posters, images or designs without permission
Another business’s content while pretending it is your own
Logos, brand assets or photographs used in a misleading manner
Reporting Posts and Blocking Users
Circular provides safety tools for users.
You can:
Use Report Post or Report User to report inappropriate, harmful, fraudulent or prohibited content
Use Block User to stop seeing posts from a particular user
Contact Circular support for serious safety concerns
Reports may be reviewed by Circular. Appropriate action may include removing content, limiting access, suspending accounts or permanently disabling accounts.
Moderation and Enforcement
Circular may review reported content and take action when content violates these guidelines or applicable law.
Actions may include:
Removing a post or image
Restricting access to certain content
Warning a user
Suspending or permanently deleting an account
Preserving or reporting information where required for safety or legal compliance
Repeated or serious violations may result in immediate permanent account removal.
Account Responsibility
Users are responsible for all content published through their Circular account.
You must not:
Impersonate another person, organisation or business
Create accounts for fraudulent purposes
Use Circular to harm, mislead or exploit other users
Attempt to bypass account restrictions or safety actions
Account Deletion
Users can delete their Circular account from inside the app. Users can also visit the Account Deletion page for information about deleting their account and data.

Changes to These Guidelines
Circular may update these Community Guidelines when the app, safety practices or applicable requirements change.
Updated guidelines will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
