Elayne began creating memory wire bracelets to reduce her smaller beads and charms inventory and utilize small gift boxes she had accumulated. Because she sells them at very low prices, a lot of people purchase them for children or grandchildren, although they are quite popular with adults as well.
Memory wire is a great venue for bracelets since it lasts and can wrap on most wrists. Most beaded bracelets in the marketplace are of one or two strands and made of elastic, which evenutally breaks. Elayne's bracelets are primarily three to four rows of wired beads consisting mostly of glass, some semi-precious, and may include metal. Every bracelet Elayne makes is designed, not haphazardly put together, and takes at least one hour to layout, wire, and often add a charm or dangle.
The 45 bracelets shown below are examples of some of the many bracelets Elayne has created.
