Math Circles of Inquiry is truly a collaborative effort among many groups. The most prominent people involved are:
- Support is provided by the National Center for Civic Innovation and the 100Kin10 Foundation. This is the source of much of the funding for this project. The 100Kin10 Foundation aims to train 100,000 excellent STEM teachers by 2021
- The Initiative for Mathematics Learning by Inquiry. MLI has provided generous funding, leadership, and ideas throughout this process.
- The Math Teachers' Circle Network, a division of the American Institute of Mathematics. Together with everyone else, AIM is ensuring that our teacher-leaders on this project are receiving the support that they need to be successful.
- The Greater Upstate New York Inquiry-Based Learning Consortium. As a group of college professors in New York, UNY IBL is also concerned about the mathematical preparation of students before entering college. Professors from this group are working with the teacher-leaders on this project.
- The Association of Mathematics Teachers of the Rochester Area. AMTRA has partnered with us to provide advertising, a venue for our message, and help with the certification process.
