Training Scenario

The goal of this Stoyline produced resource is to provide staff with a decision based scenario to practice the concept of People First Language. Staff view a mock discussion with an HR representative concerning a new employee. Dependent on their response to the HR representatives statments, the staff member is either congratulated for their use of people first language or corrected for not using people first language.

Document Formatting Training (Alternative Text)

The goal of this  Stoyline produced resource is to provide faculty with training on how to add alternative text to their documents. The training activity provides a video introduction followed by visual examples and follow up video tutorials with regard to adding alternative text to various documents. The tutorials are followed by interactive practice opportunites that utilize hotspots to provide a scored quiz that could be retaken at the user's discretion.

Document Formatting Training (Headings)

The goal of this  Stoyline produced resource is to provide faculty training with regard to adding Headings to their documents. The training activity provides examples of the most utilized document types at the college (Word, PowerPoint, Canvas, and Google Docs). The activity provides interactive versions of these documents via hotspots that require users to respond to questions with regard to adding Headings to the document examples. The interactive examples are each followed by video tutorials and multiple choice quizzes all repeatable at the user's discretion.
