Although the Enchanted Edition of Cinderella is originally written for television, this production is performed on a large stage. In addition, the vocal stylistic choices by the actors in the original television version in 1997 are significantly different from how we sing in musical theatre in the 21st Century.
Our desire is to have a healthy and supported traditional musical theatre sound. This is not an operatic sound, nor a pop/rock sound. Examples of similar vocal styles are the original cast recording of Into the Woods, Big Fish, Shrek, and Wicked.
