We invite you to participate in the 2nd New Jersey, USA CID World Dance Festival on March 29 & 30, 2025  in Secaucus, New Jersey USA.

This event is organized in collaboration with the town of Secaucus and supported by the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, a state partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Here are details regarding registration

REGISTRATION

§   CID membership plus Festival registration is required for performers, musicians and backstage assistants. No other fee is charged. Fees are not refundable.

§   Upon check-in conferees receive their badge (to wear at all times), the itinerary for the 2 days and gifts from sponsors

 ACCOMPANYING PERSONS

 Non-performing persons either register as Festival participants to apply for a visa to assist you in dressing rooms, or enter as other spectators without access to stage or backstage. Entrance: $5 

 EXPENSES

 All participants cover their travel, stay and other expenses. They must be insured for the duration of their stay in the country. if travelling from outside USA

REHEARSAL

 A  Stage test (not full rehearsal) is available, if required, for a few minutes to get acquainted with the stage - it will takes place at 12 noon on March 29.

The USB stick with music must be brought at rehearsals or handed over to your coordinator half hour before your performance time slot..

PERFORMANCES

8 minutes for solos. 15 minutes for groups

We recommend watching all other performances as a courtesy to your colleagues.

 RECORDING

Performers can make their own video recording if they wish. 

SCHEDULE 

29 March            : Day of Festival. Performances from 4pm  to 8pm

30 March             : Participant's Brunch, Award Ceremony for students receiving their Certificates

MATERIAL

  You can bring flyers or handouts to distribute to the audience. Send us the link to your website & your social media to be posted at the festival website.

VISITS

 New York City is only 3 miles from the festival venue and can be easily reached by public transportation. We can suggest places to visit depending on your travel plans
