**First CID World Dance & Diversity Festival** **Secaucus, NJ - June 22, 2024** - 

The Rutherford Section CID in collaboration with the Town of Secaucus and supported by the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, proudly hosted the inaugural CID World Dance Festival at the Secaucus Recreation Center. 

The festival had participation from 120 participants performing dances from all over the world. 

Participants traveled from across the East Coast, including Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, and New York, to share their cultural expressions through dance.  

Attendees had the opportunity to explore a variety of unique crafts and savor international cuisine from several vendors and food trucks. 

On July 23, the section hosted a brunch meet up for participants. We had an interesting discussion on programming ideas for the  section.

It was a very successful first festival for our section
