CHW Bridge to Excellence Program

West Texas AHEC's CHW Bridge to Excellence Program is certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) and provides 160 hours of online modules towards certification.

CHW Certification Course Curriculum

CHW certification online course provides 8 sections with 53 lessons. You can access the online course anywhere at any time. A wide variety of learning materials, interactive activities, assessment quizzes, and useful handouts available!

CHW Bridge to Excellence CHW Certification Course is certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) and is only able to grant DSHS certification to individuals who reside in Texas and are 18 years or older. However, non-Texas residents will be eligible to obtain a certificate of completion.
