ASVAB Career Exploration Program
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a career assessment designed to help students identify their strengths, interests, and potential career pathways. While it is used by the U.S. military for enlistment purposes, taking the ASVAB does not obligate a student to join the military. In fact, test scores are only shared with the student and their parents. (It is up to the student to share their scores with the recruiter if they are wanting to enlist)
Many high schools offer the ASVAB as part of the ASVAB Career Exploration Program (CEP) because it provides valuable information for all students, regardless of their post-graduation plans.
