All NHS members must complete 40 total service hours by the end of Quarter 4 (20/semester)

Hour Requirements

• At least 15 hours must be Achieve tutoring hours

• The remaining 5 hours may be one of the following:

  • 5 outside hours (non-NHS / non-CHS activities such as SORS, food pantry, etc.)

  • 5 NHS hours (AP Fair, Google Classroom opportunities, CHS events, etc.)

  • OR 5 additional Achieve tutoring hours

*If you already have more than 5 NHS hours, you do not need extra hours in those categories—you just need to complete the remaining Achieve hours to reach 20 total.*

Example:
If you have 8 NHS hours (AP Fair + Seth Boyden food distribution), you only need 12 Achieve hours for the semester.
