The office. Lots of dials, buttons, and screens. They provide the young god a way to build and maintain his new universe.
"Dear me,
You’re probably super lost right about now, but don’t worry! Apparently it happens every time! I’m you from the previous universe. I’m actually about to head into a universe I created, and live in it with these creatures that have called themselves "humans." I’m really nervous but God says I did a good job this time so far, so fingers crossed that everything goes well! Anyways, before I go, I just want to give you a little check sheet of what to do. Hopefully it’ll help and you won’t waste as much time this time! Best of luck!
Love,
yourself"

Author’s Note:
Hey! Welcome back to my story! And if you’re new here then welcome! In this week’s story I have based it loosely off of the beginning of chapter 1 of Genesis from the Bible.
In Genesis, God is creating the universe and the earth. He is very matter-of-fact with his creation and simply did what he needed to do. Whatever he spoke came into existence starting with light, day and night, the sky, and the earth. In my version I just included the universe because I know that I would not have enough space to include the earth! That’ll be in next week’s story don’t worry.
I wanted to give universe creation a lot more depth than Genesis originally did. The God in Genesis is an all powerful being that has full control on his creation and knows exactly what to do. He does not make mistakes or does not struggle. Giving the young god an office to work in is something anyone can picture and makes him more relatable to the reader. Just like a lot of our lives, he is dumped into a situation that he doesn’t really understand. Personally, picturing a god that is just as clueless as we are is funny but also comforting at the same time. Anyways, hope you enjoyed and please let me know what you thought!
