University Work
During my college career, I worked with other undergraduate developers to create games and experiences primarily using C# and Unity.
I collaborated with my peers to help form aspects of each game's concepts and design, and contributed heavily to the gameplay / UI programming under the hood.
Rolling Revolt (September 2022 - May 2023, UCF)
Worked on a team of 15 people to develop a fast-paced beat-em-up adventure where players maneuver through stages using roller skates and a grappling hook.
Responsible for programming many core mechanics, including player movement, grappling, UI HUD elements/menus, and more.
Had frequent conversations with the Design team throughout development to refine mechanics and make the game feel as satisfying to play as possible.
Melody Knight (September - December 2022, UCF)
Tasked with developing a mobile game for the casual market, our team of seven developers created a rhythm game set in medieval times with extensive replayability.
Helped form the game's central design, and served as lead programmer, scripting essential mechanics for core gameplay, as well as implementing almost all UI menus and character animations.
Collaborated with our teams' artists heavily to add visual juice and make sure feedback related to player actions was immediate and accurate.
