Game Jam Games
For many years, I’ve participated in 48-hour game-making challenges in order to improve and test my creative thinking, rapid prototyping, and design skills. Each of these was based on a central theme, which my teammates and I designed gameplay mechanics around.
I’ve served as a major designer and programmer on every jam game I've been a part of.

Grove Escape 1985 (Armed Forces Jam 2023)
Our team of 6 developers was tasked with turning a digital twin of the Central Florida Tech Grove into a digital Escape Room experience.
Inspired by the aesthetic of '80s action cartoons such as G.I. Joe, we created a stylized version of the space with puzzles designed to be similar to real-world escape rooms.
I designed and programmed many of the games' puzzles and core mechanics, and played a major role in organizing the project's development, delegating, overseeing, and assisting with code and art related tasks among my teammates.
Alt/Tab (GMTK Game Jam 2021)
The theme of the jam was “Joined Together.”
In my concept, two identical player characters occupy two windows you can swap between with a button press. The players’ actions in one window affect the other window, and both characters need to reach the goal for the player to win.
Players can place platforms to solve tricky platforming challenges and shoot bomb blocks to make new areas accessible to the other character.
Game created individually, with music by Gabriel Velicu. I was recovering from surgery and traveling across the country at the time, but I still found time to participate in the jam!
