Dr. Christopher W. Schmidt is a biological anthropologist at the University of Indianapolis where he Chairs the Dept. of Anthropology.  His primary research focuses on dietary reconstruction via dental microwear texture analysis; his dental interests also include dental metrics and macrowear.  As a bioarchaeologist he studies burned human bones, Herculaneum, cut marks, and engages in bioarchaeological field work.
