Bioarchaeology Laboratory
Bioarchaeology Laboratory
The Bioarchaeology Lab at the University of Indianapolis is a research and teaching facility designed to promote faculty and student scholarship. In addition to cutting edge technology, it has an osteology teaching collection (devoid of Native American bones), a comparative faunal collection, and a small collection of comparative lithics. It also houses standard osteometric tools (e.g., osteometric boards, spreading calipers, fine point calipers, etc.) and a collection of thousands of human dental casts suitable for microwear texture analysis.
