CT's Model Men [Constantly Changing]

This dynamic (changing over time) list is one of the men in my life whom I admire. Most build math models. Everyone builds mental models. Model Men (not in any order) /* I took down the very detailed descriptions in favor of shorter ones. I will dedicate a whole blog post to each person. Stay tuned */:

• Professor Mike Radzicki is my advisor. Co-piloting with Prof. Konrad. I am just along with the ride and am a backseat driver/navigator/comedy show. He is very funny too. Some of his jokes sound offensive but he actually is very nice and is just joking.
• Professor Khalid Saeed is tough. Take his classes only if you are ready to "Get to work." He also gives great advice. Subtly funny and a rebel in a "punk rocker" (credit Tim Clancy) way. His voice is also very soothing and calming. I like talking to him (and falling asleep to his talks). He makes System Dynamics enter my subconscious.

• Professor Bland Addison is the WPI Badminton Club advisor. He is very good at badminton. Won medals in senior games/Olympics? I forgot what they were called. I somewhat regret not taking history classes with him at WPI. I took a course at Northern Essex Community College over a summer to save money and myself the headache of having to read and remember things during the school year. My Humanities and Arts breath is in history. Depth in writing, specifically technical writing.
• Dean of Students Greg Snoddy is the WPI Graduate Student Government (GSG) advisor. I became "the face" of GSG for a while because I was VP of Social Events. It was draining but worth it. We did a lot. See my Extracurricular Activties page.

• Mr. ??? Central academic advisor. Took a career test my junior year of high school. Results:

• Mr. Grella was my freshman year algebra teacher. He would make me go to the white board when I didn't want to. I dislike the smell of makers and how it feels to write on a white board. CT is team Chalk board.
• Mr. Pastore taught us how to code (and share games) on our TI-83s. He also read Tuesdays with Morrie to us.
• Mr. Cav was my AP Physics teacher. He played basketball at Darthmouth. Told us how he met Gregg Popovich before Pop coached the Spurs.
• Mr. Doyle was my Central junior year physics teacher. He calls himself a Greek god and would flex during class. Fun times.
• Mr. ?? I forgot his name. He taught Excel, Access, and Visual Basic at Central.
• Friends
  • Computer Scientists (CS)/Olympiads - helped with CS. I am crazy and take CS and Math classes that typically only math and CS majors take. I study Operations Research and like to know what goes on under the "hood"/software. One is doing PhD and the other works for...Google? Used to work for Microsoft.
  • Chinese teacher/tutor - helped me with physics and math. Last I remember,
  • Jim Monaco taught/teaches me a lot of things: Camtasia, Adobe Premiere, etc. We go on psedu-random walks too.
• My family...especially my dad. He is crazy and drives me crazy with his old school ways but I get it. Sometimes the old way is the better way in my opinion. It depends!

I like a lot of people for their work, strength/resilience or how they treat others. This list is not exhaustive. I am very inclusive ;)
