Hello,

My name is Christine Martinez, I am a University of New Mexico graduate. I believe in classroom equity; I am passionate about teaching and I believe that all students can achieve academic success. I have a total of five years in the educational field. I have experience working with grades K-5. During my last semester of full-time student teaching I was in a fifth-grade classroom at the Taos International School.

During the summer of 2019, I worked as the activity teacher for the K-5 summer program at the Taos International School. I also participated in the UNM TESOL summer program at La Mesa Elementary School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This opportunity allowed me to work closely with English Language Learners as well as take courses and learn about GLAD strategies.

I am excited to continue working in the field of education and I hope you enjoy looking at my professional portfolio.
