Fairytale Heroines (OVER)

July 29 - August 5 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm Writers & Books

(AFTERNOONS: for ages 14+) We’ve all learned about Sleepy Snow White and Drowsy Sleeping Beauty. But fairytales worldwide feature heroines with a little more oomph who were much less likely to doze off at inopportune times. In this camp students will explore fairytale heroines and discuss new ways to look at some of the classics we’ve read since we were just little kids. Students will work together to create a book of their very own modern fairy tales with a twist.
