Research Information
I am an Assistant Professor in the Mathematics & Statistics Department at Williams College. Previously, I was a Hale Visiting Assistant Professor in the School of Mathematics at the Georgia Institute of Technology. My mentor was Rachel Kuske.
I earned my PhD in Applied and Interdisciplinary Mathematics at the University of Michigan. My advisors were Victoria Booth and Daniel Forger. While at UMich I also obtained the Graduate Certificate on Computational Neuroscience.
My interests lie in the intersection of Applied Dynamical Systems, Bifurcation Theory with applications in Mathematical Neuroscience and Mechanics, and Mathematical Modeling. My research focuses on:
Analyzing dynamics of vibro-impact systems and
Understanding the mechanisms of sleep-wake regulation and analyzing bifurcation phenomena due to developmentally-mediated changes in sleep-wake behavior.
