The Prayers of the Rosary
The Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Latin: In nomine Patris, et Filii et Spiritus Sancti. Amen.
The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father almighty, from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen.
Amen.
The Our Father
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come; Thy Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Latin: Pater noster, qui es in caelis, sanctificetur Nomen Tuum, adveniat regnum Tuum, fiat voluntas Tua, sicut in caelo et in terra. Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie et dimitte nobis debita nostra, sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris, et ne nos inducas in tentationem, sed libera nos a malo. Amen.
The Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee; blessed art Thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Latin: Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus Tecum; benedicta Tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris Tui, Jesus. Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.
The Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Latin: Gloria Patri et Filio et Spiritui Sancto. Sicut erat in principio, et nunc et semper, et in saecula saeculorum. Amen.
The Fatima Decade Prayer
* O My Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who are in most need of Thy mercy.
Latin: O mi Jesu, dimitte nobis peccata nostra; libera nos ab ignibus inferni; perduc omnes animas in caelum, praesertim maxime indigentes.
* In Her third apparition at Fatima, July 13, 1917, Our Lady taught the three shepherd children to add this short prayer after each decade of the Rosary.
Prayer for a New Pentecost (at the end of each decade)
Come, Holy Spirit, come by means of the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, your well-beloved Spouse.
Hail, Holy Queen
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, Hail our life, our sweetness and our hope. To Thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To Thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, Most gracious Advocate, Thine eyes of mercy towards us, and after this our exile show unto us the blessed Fruit of Thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
V. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
O clemens, O pia, O dulcis Virgo Maria.
V. Ora pro nobis, sancta Dei Genitrix.
R. Ut digni efficiamur promissionibus Christi.

The Angelus Prayer
The Angelus is traditionally prayed in a call and response format, with a leader announcing the versicle (V) and all present saying the response (R).
Versicle (℣)/Leader:
Response (℟)/All:
The Angelus reminds us that God became a human being, taking on our flesh and redeeming us, body and soul. As when praying the Creed at Mass, it is customary to genuflect or bow when we pray the words “and dwelt among us” as a sign of gratitude to God, to honour the moment of the Incarnation (when the Word became flesh, when God assumed human nature).
The Solemnity of the Annunciation - the Moment of Incarnation: The angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she shall be the Mother of God. At the moment Mary said her “Fiat,” Jesus was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit. This is the moment of the Incarnation, when the Word became flesh, when God assumed human nature without changing or losing His divine nature. Source: catholicculture.org/moment-incarnation
Versicle (℣)/Leader: The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary,
Response (℟)/All: And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.
Hail Mary...
Versicle (℣)/Leader: Behold the handmaid of the Lord.
Response (℟)/All: Be it done unto me according to Thy word.
Hail Mary...
Versicle (℣)/Leader: And the Word was made flesh,
Response (℟)/All: And dwelt among us.
Hail Mary...
Versicle (℣)/Leader: Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God,
Response (℟)/All: That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray: Pour forth, we beseech thee, O Lord, thy grace into our hearts, that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ thy Son was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His Resurrection, through the same Christ Our Lord.
Amen.

Regina Cæli (English)
The Regina Coeli (or “Regina Cæli”) is a Marian and Christological prayer honouring the Virgin Mary during the Easter season. The Regina Cæli replaces the recitation of the Angelus during the Easter Season.
Versicle (℣)/Leader: Queen of Heaven, rejoice, alleluia.
Response (℟)/All: For He whom you did merit to bear, alleluia.
Versicle (℣)/Leader: Has risen, as he said, alleluia.
Response (℟)/All: Pray for us to God, alleluia.
Versicle (℣)/Leader: Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary, alleluia.
Response (℟)/All: For the Lord has truly risen, alleluia.
Let us pray. O God, who gave joy to the world through the resurrection of Thy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, grant we beseech Thee, that through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, His Mother, we may obtain the joys of everlasting life. Through the same Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided.
