WPI Teaching Practicum Portfolio
My name is Christian Rua and I am a student at WPI's class of 2025 studying computer science and education. Over the course of the spring 2024 semester, I completed my student teaching practicum through WPI's Teacher Preparation Program seeking licensure in Digital Literacy & Computer Science (5-12). At Claremont Academy, a public high school in the Worcester Public Schools district, I taught four classes differing in grade level and content. My practicum was completed under the mentorship of Kismet Fair, supervising practitioner, and Tamisha Thompson, program supervisor — both of whom I thank for their dedication to my success throughout the process.
