Christian C. Blanco

Research Statement

My research focus is on business and climate change. I do research in supply chain carbon footprinting, carbon targets, carbon emissions reduction investments, and climate change disclosures. My research methods draw from econometrics and machine learning, including text analytics. I have implemented text analysis in sustainable OM and other domains, such as pharmaceutical manufacturing. I currently have a project that uses text analytics to classify and quantify social sustainability issues within the supply chain.
