Job Title: Marketing Director (Part-Time)
Position Overview:
The Marketing Director is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that elevate the visibility, outreach, and impact of Christ Baptist Church. This role plays a key part in shaping the church’s brand, promoting events and ministries, and ensuring that both internal and external communications are clear, consistent, and aligned with the mission of the church. The ideal candidate has a creative spirit, a strategic mind, and a heart for ministry—using their marketing skills to amplify the message of Christ and engage the community.
Create and implement marketing campaigns for church events, programs, and initiatives across digital and print platforms.
Oversee branding, including logos, color palettes, fonts, and messaging, to ensure consistency across all communications.
Manage and maintain the church’s website, social media accounts, and email newsletters with timely, engaging content.
Collaborate with ministry leaders to promote their efforts and increase visibility of their work.
Design graphics, flyers, and promotional materials (or oversee volunteers/vendors who assist).
Track engagement metrics, assess campaign performance, and adjust strategies accordingly.
Serve as a liaison between the church and the broader community through public relations and storytelling.
Coordinate announcements, bulletins, and visual materials for worship services and special events.
Passion for communicating the Gospel in relevant and creative ways.
Strong written and visual communication skills.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.
Collaborative team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
Respect for church values, mission, and culture.
Familiarity with tools like Canva, Mailchimp, social media platforms, and basic web design is a plus.
