Christ Baptist Church was founded on May 13, 2017, by Pastor Astin Ward and Pastor Charvey Persaud Jr. with a clear vision: to build a Christ-centered church where lives would be transformed through the power of the Gospel, authentic worship, meaningful fellowship, and compassionate service. From its earliest days, the church has remained committed to sharing God's love, developing disciples, and creating a welcoming environment where people from all walks of life can grow in their faith.

As the ministry continued to grow, Christ Baptist Church welcomed dedicated staff members, ministry leaders, volunteers, and an ever-growing church family who embraced the mission and vision of the church. Together, they expanded ministries, strengthened outreach efforts, and established programs that served both the congregation and the surrounding community.

Throughout the years, Christ Baptist Church has remained steadfast in its commitment to glorifying God in everything it does. Worship, biblical teaching, prayer, and community have always been at the heart of the church's ministry. At the same time, the church has boldly lived out its faith by standing for justice, advocating for those whose voices often go unheard, and actively engaging in efforts that promote equality, compassion, and hope. Believing that faith should be lived out both inside and outside the walls of the church, Christ Baptist Church continues to be "about that life" when it comes to social justice, demonstrating God's love through action as well as words.

Today, Christ Baptist Church continues to grow in faith, purpose, and impact. While much has changed since its founding, its mission remains the same: to glorify God, proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, love people unconditionally, and make a lasting difference in the community and beyond.
