Chris moved to Utah while he was in the Air Force in 1996 and moved to North Ogden in 2001. He is a father of 3 children and married to a life long North Ogden resident.
Chris graduated from the Air Force Academy with a Bachelor's in Aeronautical Engineering (see subpage for more info). After his military service he has worked for government contractors to build rocket motors. His overall professional experience taught him two things: 1) the importance of budget and schedule and planning for unforeseen events/emergencies and 2) the importance of working with counterparts to get to a middle ground that is beneficial to both parties.
Chris has always been interested in local government and it blossomed as he came to city meetings to aid a neighbor on a city ordinance violation, which in the end resulted in a positive change in the ordinance. After that Chris became a regular to city related meetings and volunteered to be part of the Citizen Budget Review Subcommittee, which did an in-depth analysis of the entire North Ogden City budget this past Spring. This subcommittee provided Chris with intimate knowledge of the North Ogden City budget and its future needs.
