Pending criminal cases that you are the suspect or victim in
Serious misdemeanor or felony offenses as outlined by California ER:LC Penal Codes
Record of law enforcement impersonation or perjury / false statements

Step 1: APPLICATION

Step 2: DUTY

There is a preliminary probationary period for all new Troopers within the California Highway Patrol. During this time, you will be expected to work closely with other employees to complete any circumstances you may require.

The California Highway Patrol pays for all equipment, uniforms, and vehicle expenses.

For now, we have removed the training program, if you have any questions or concerns about your duties, make sure to ask us!

- The California Highway Patrol often offers a 'conditional' offer to law enforcement candidates. This means that the offer is not final and is dependent on the completion of the proper trial phase and background checks. After both stages have been completed, the offer of employment is properly processed.
