To quickly and efficiently rotate a horizontal control panel to a specific color with minimal alignment required
To fit in the frame perimeter and minimize the number of moving parts
Studied game manual and looked at previous designs
Designed 3D printed hood for color sensor to minimize light that interferes with sensor
Spinner went through 5 iterations in CAD to find optimal configuration
Used compliant wheels to allow for some compression while maintaining grip on control panel
Robot won the 2020 Utah Regional Competition
Rest of season was cancelled due to COVID-19
